Hello everyone,

I have been receiving encouraging news from the doctor who operated on Toby. Yesterday he was able to put some weight on his back legs for a brief period of time. This is a very good sign that he will have a full recovery, and the doctor is very optimistic! I will most likely be bringing him home today. Now the challenge of keeping him quiet and away from all the other dogs begins!

If any of you have it in your heart (and are able) to make a donation towards his surgery expense, I would be so very grateful. His bill is going to be on the lower end of the estimate (thank God!), around $2,800. That is still money I do not have. My rescue was already in the hole before this happened!
